edit: When I said, "Good Job, guys." It was meant to mean "Congrats on the media coverage," and not, "way to go dummies for letting the rookie not use a helmet while you guys all are wearing one."

Don't know if you read the follow-up comments below the video, but here was the explanation of the helmet issue.

Let me just elaborate a little further on the helmet issue. Vanessa opted not to initially wear a helmet because we (the guys on stilts) suggested that she didn't need one since she was not going to be walking on her own and we would have a hold on her. She turned out to be a fast learner and was soon walking on her own. At that point, we should have put a helmet on her but got caught up in the filming. Our mistake. But there were always people off camera within arms reach of her if she needed them.
